The 2022 RMEF Mountain Festival, presented by onX Hunt, will feature world class country music performers, hunting storytellers and other entertainment outside in the shadows of the Wasatch Mountains in beautiful Park City, Utah, July 21-24. Below is a brief summary of each night’s entertainment highlights.
Thursday, July 21 – OutdoorClass Storyteller Night & live music from country music artist Heath Sanders
Between the four of them, OutdoorClass experts Jaime Teigan, John Barklow, Corey Jacobsen and Randy Newberg have hundreds of thousands of hours of combined experience in the outdoors and hunting. They will share their successful tales, tips, tricks and secrets. Country music artist Heath Sanders, an Arkansas natural gas-worker-turned-songwriter, will then take the stage. He posted his cover of Chris Stapleton’s “Either Way” on Facebook in early 2018 that went viral and transformed his life. His new and current hit “Raised on Red” features Justin Moore. Storyteller Night is open to the public but donations to RMEF are encouraged. The evening’s activities also feature exclusive raffles and giveaways. For those preferring an all-inclusive experience, a $40 ticket includes a custom RMEF 24 oz. mug from YETI, a basket sandwich/chips meal, drink ticket and a ticket to an exclusive drawing.
Friday, July 22 – BRCC Fund Conservation Night & live music from Nashville singer-songwriters Wyatt & Holly McCubbin and Shane Minor
Honor veterans and conservation at this evening event for the Black Rifle Coffee Company (BRCC) Fund.
Wyatt & Holly McCubbin and Shane Minor will swap stories, tunes and share insights as part of a songwriter’s round. Wyatt has his songs recorded by Tracy Lawrence, John Schneider, Josh Ward and others. His wife, Holly, comes from a talented musical family including brothers Mo and Blake Pitney. Minor wrote songs for Luke Bryan, Justin Moore, Chris Young, Jamey Johnson and many others. Before that he was a Los Angeles police officer and a bull rider. Attendees will learn more about the BRCC Fund’s mission and take part in special raffles and a silent auction.
Saturday, July 23 – RMEF Conservation Celebration Night, sponsored by Traeger and YETI & live music from The Cleverlys
RMEF celebrates its mission and thanks its volunteers for 38 years of dedication to ensuring the future of elk, other wildlife, their habitat and our hunting heritage. In addition to raffles, games and giveaways, The Cleverlys, from a remote part of the Ozark Mountains in Arkansas, will wrap up the night with a one-of-a-kind comedy/music blend. The faux-family band is fronted by Digger Cleverly, along with nephews Ricky Lloyd, Sock, DVD and Cub are accomplished musicians who put their unique bluegrass spin on songs from any genre. This event is open to the public but donations to RMEF are encouraged. For those preferring an all-inclusive experience, a $60 ticket includes a Rambler 10 oz. Lowball from YETI, a basket sandwich/chips meal, drink ticket and a ticket for a chance to win exclusive prizes from Traeger and YETI.
