Dozens of wildfires currently burning across the West already charred more than 1.4 million acres, decimating landscapes and destroying vital wildlife habitat. Reform is desperately needed to bolster wildlife habitat, reduce the risk of catastrophic wildfire and improve overall forest health.
The Fix Our Forests Act offers exactly that. This bipartisan legislation reduces red tape for forest projects and expands cooperative management with state, tribal and local governments. It also reverses the Cottonwood decision, a Ninth Circuit Court ruling that opened the door for radical lawsuits filed by environmental groups.
Click here to urge your elected representatives to act now to support active forest management and the Fix Our Forests Act.
