Chances are, you’re familiar with the Eberlestock Team Elk pack. It’s been a RMEF-licensed pack for 6 years. Now, I’d like to introduce you to a lighter option for a day pack in the elk woods—the Bandit.
First, you’ll notice its size. Its low-profile, slim design means it doesn’t get snagged when going through brush, which makes it great for day-hikes, early-season bow hunts, skiing, biking—just about any activity wear you don’t want or need to carry a bunch of gear.
Take it on a plane and stash it under your seat. The outside of the pack features an auxiliary panel made of laser-cut MOLLE, which allows you to carry bulky items like a heavy coat. Bottle pouches on both sides. Tiny waist strap, which is easily stashed out of the way if you don’t need it.
And finally, MOLLE straps cover the sides, top and bottom. Straps are fully-adjustable and ample padding helps keep air flowing on your back. The top zipper compartment is a great place to stash small items you don’t want to lose like keys, cell phones and candy.
Aside from its size, perhaps the best feature is the full-length front-loading zipper. Inside, side pockets abound to help you stay organized and a hydration pouch is compatible with either the 2L or 3L Source hydration bladder.
Best of all? Coming soon this pack will become RMEF’s latest licensed pack from Eberlestock featuring the new RMEF Team Elk patch in an Eberlestock’s camo pattern. If you’re looking for a versatile daypack that’s overbuilt for whatever you want to throw at it, this is it.
