If you’re looking for some of the best all-around scopes money can buy, then welcome to Conquest line of Zeiss scopes. The Conquest V4 family is based on a 4-power zoom ratio, incorporates a 30 mm main tube and consists of a wide variety of models for any hunting situation.
We tested the V4 4-16×50 at the range and we were not disappointed. The magnification range of the 4-16 provides a high level of versatility while the 50mm objective lens allows 90 percent light transmission. The scope features two specialized lens coatings. The T-Star lens coating optimizes light transmission and color correction while the LotuTec Hydrophobic coating adds the benefit of repelling water, dirt and anti-fogging of the lens.
The External Elevation Turret is easy to manipulate with a large range of adjustment, providing the shooter with maximum flexibility. In addition to elevation adjustment, the V4 comes equipped with windage dials as well as side-parallax adjustment.
A forgiving eye-box, coupled with abundant eye relief and the wide field of view, affords the shooter fast target acquisition. This model features an illuminated second focal plane reticle, which includes fine line subtensions with 1 M O A graduations. The illumination offers 10 brightness settings and intermittent On/Off.
If you have the chance to test drive this scope or any Zeiss glass, we know you’re gonna like what you see.
