July 16-19th RMEF will host a national online auction as part of RMEF Big Game Days, and your chapter has an opportunity to be part of it.
Chapters that secure fully donated items for this online auction will receive the revenue generated from the sale of those items. That means your local relationships and donor connections can directly translate into additional funding for your chapter.
The auction will be open to the public and hosted through the official RMEF online auction platform. Unlike a traditional banquet auction, these items will be exposed to bidders across the country, significantly expanding their reach and fundraising potential.
What We’re Looking For
We are seeking fully donated, high-quality items that perform well in an online format.
Examples include:
- Firearms
• High-end merchandise
• Collector items
• Unique or once-in-a-lifetime experiences
• Guided hunts or trips
• Specialty outdoor gear
• Exclusive memorabilia
If it is a premium item that would draw attention beyond your local banquet audience, it may be a strong candidate for the online auction.
Why This Matters for Your Chapter
Many donors are used to seeing their contributions showcased at a local banquet. This online auction provides something different. It offers national visibility and the opportunity to be featured on a much larger stage.
For chapters, this means:
- Expanded bidder reach beyond your local event
• Increased fundraising potential
• Revenue returned directly to your chapter
• A new opportunity to engage high-level donors
Items that may be limited by room size or attendance at a banquet can reach a broader and more competitive audience online.
How to Get Involved
If you have ideas for items or believe you can secure a strong donation, the next step is simple:
Contact your Regional Director.
Your Regional Director will walk you through the submission process and provide the necessary steps to move forward.
This is a unique opportunity to elevate your chapter’s fundraising efforts while giving donors national exposure. With Big Game Days approaching, now is the time to start identifying potential items and having those conversations.
The stronger the donations, the stronger the results.
If you have questions, start with your Regional Director and take the first step toward making this online auction a success for your chapter.
