For 2025-2026, Fiocchi partnered with the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation to increase the visibility of poaching incidents in an effort to reduce poaching. RMEF helped successfully restore wild, free-ranging elk to their historic Missouri range in 2012.
We need your help! A bull elk was recently poached and left to waste at Peck Ranch Conservation Area.
Conservation agents are seeking to speak with anyone who visited the refuge area the night of Tuesday, Nov. 25 through Wednesday, Nov. 26.
If you visited Peck Ranch during this time, you’re urged to call Operation Game Thief at 1-800-392-1111. A reward is available for information leading to a conviction.
