Game and Fish officials are looking for information in relation to an elk poaching case near Goodrich.
A bull elk was shot and left in a field near the intersection of 10th ST NE and 19th AVE NE north of Goodrich. The elk was likely shot between 7 p.m. October 10th, 2025, and 9 a.m. on October 11th, 2025. No meat was taken from the elk.
If anyone has any information about the illegal taking of the elk, please contact the Report All Poachers hotline at 701-328-9921. Individuals may remain anonymous if they chose and are eligible for a reward if a conviction is made based on information they provide.
