BROADUS, Mont. —  Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks Enforcement division is seeking information on a bull elk that was shot in the Custer National Forest recently.

FWP Region 7 Warden Kyle Queer is investigating the poaching of a bull that was shot from the road on forest land southwest of Broadus in Powder River County. Warden Queer believes the bull was shot the evening of Feb. 21. The animal’s head, backstraps and all four quarters were taken.
